This tool is a Personal Software Inspector, designed with a purpose to trace and assess security threats caused by vulnerable programs. Secunia PSI allows you to scan, identify, and update insecure programs installed on your computer that can cause serious threats. After thorough scanning, it will display the list of patched, insecure and obsolete programs in a graphical form, guide you to perform required actions, and provide all the details and download links related to the updated versions. The Secunia PSI is very interactive and easy to use by novice as well as experienced users. This tool provides simple and advanced modes of operation. Furthermore, via its "Settings" option, you can always monitor your system, automatically remove insecure programs from your interface, choose any other interface language from the list, and create a profile for easy accessing. |
